Germany to South Africa

Our trek through Central and South America exceeded our expectation.  It was culturally immersive and validated our mantra . . . “Travel is the ultimate education”.  Here are just a few facts regarding the first leg of our trek: traveled for 110 days; total distance traveled (including air) 13,807 miles including over 4,000 miles by bus.  The travel by bus resulted in 116 hours or more than five days riding everything from a chicken bus [...]
